    What vehicles qualify under the BMW Certified Series Program?

    Only those vehicles that have passed a rigorous 94-point inspection and 360° reconditioning process by an authorized BMW Retailer are Certified under the Certified Series program. The selected vehicles represent an exclusive selection verified by Carfax and are reconditioned by Certified BMW Technicians using only genuine BMW parts to ensure the safety and quality of the vehicle.

    How long is the base Certified Powertrain Limited Warranty?

    BMW Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Powertrain Limited Warranty delivers service for mechanical repairs, parts, and labour for 5 years and unlimited kilometres. The protection provides coverage for unexpected repairs during the contract term. For additional peace of mind, talk to your BMW Retailer about the optional Certified Platinum Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) for protection of most mechanical parts of your vehicle in the event of a mechanical breakdown for up to 8 years and unlimited kilometers.     What does the base Certified Powertrain Limited Warranty cover?

    • Engine – Including engine block, cylinder heads, pistons, cranshaft and fuel pump.
    • Transmission, Transaxle, Transfer Care – Including oil pump, cover, gears and automatic transmission clutch.
    • Drive Axle – Including differential/axle housing, ring and pinion gear/carrier assembly, plates and springs.
    • Hybrid/Electric Components – Including hybrid electric motor and electric motor.

    What does the BMW Certified Platinum plan cover?

    For more complete coverage, the Certified Platinum Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) covers all mechanical parts of your vehicle in the event of a mechanical breakdown, unless they are specifically listed as “not covered” in your Contract (i.e. maintenance items such as spark plugs and wiper blades, as well as items such as trim pieces, upholstery, and body panels).     What is covered under the Roadside Assistance extension?

    Roadside Assistance offers a range of services, including Emergency Services and Travel Planning. These include Emergency Service Call, Mechanical Breakdown Towing, Winching, Trip Interruption Benefits, and Travel Planning Services. All drivers registered to your vehicle are entitled to an extensive range of services and benefits at no additional cost.
